Accra Weather
Ghana's tropical climate means that it is generally warm all year round though, as with all tropical locations, rain regularly makes an appearance during the wet season. There are two rainy seasons in Ghana one from April to July and the other from September to November.
From December to March the Harmattan winds blow in from the north east lowering the humidity. The effects of the Harmattan hit the north of Ghana creating hot days and cool nights. The effects of the Harmattan are felt in the south during January.
Ghana's highest temperatures are generally recorded in March. The lowest temperatures are during August.
The weather is 'well controlled' in our lodging hotels through the use of effective cooling systems in the hotel rooms and natural water cooling can be enjoyed in the outdoor swimming pools.
